Man seriously injured in stabbing in Cliftonville, Margate

Two adults and a teenage girl have been arrested after a stabbing in a residential area.

Police were called to Dalby Square in Cliftonville, Margate, this morning following a report that a man had been assaulted between 4am and 4.45am.

The victim sustained serious injuries.

He was taken to a London hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

A 42-year-old man, a 31-year-old woman and a 16-year-old girl, all from Margate, were arrested in connection with the assault and taken into custody.

A police cordon remained in place in Dalby Square this morning, and a number of emergency vehicles were spotted in the area.
