Marc Seager says he is unsure whether he will play any part in the rest of Sittingbourne’s Ryman League, Division 1 South campaign.

Caretaker-boss Seager (pictured) was in the dugout for the final time on Tuesday night as the Brickies travelled to Hythe.

Regular boss Joe Dowley is set to retake control after a holiday for Saturday’s home clash with Eastbourne.

Seager said: "I’ve said all along I could do the three games and I’ve enjoyed doing it but Joe is due back and I don’t know what happens from here – it’s in a bit of limbo really.

"This has all come out of the blue for me and I agreed to help the club out for the three games because I didn’t have anything else on.

"The problem is that I can’t commit and how can you ask players to commit themselves if I’m not committed?

"There are only seven Saturdays remaining this season and I’m not available on three or four of them – I have prior engagements.

"It’s not in the club’s interests for me to stay on if I can’t commit each week. I’ve always been all or nothing."
