Morrisons and Sainsbury's become latest Prime Hydration stockists as fans await arrival of Prime Energy with caffeine

Morrisons has joined Sainsbury's in stocking viral drink Prime from this week.

After months of Asda and Arsenal's Emirates ground being the only two official places to sell bottles of Prime Hydration more retailers are now getting their hands on valuable stock.

Earlier this week Sainsbury's began selling bottles of the drink - including a new limited edition flavour Orange and Mango flavour - which led to large queues outside a number of stores.

Morrisons has now also added Prime to its supermarket shelves - selling four flavours each at £2 a bottle. Each customer will be allowed to buy no more than four.

Both follow Aldi which had a temporary supply of the drink last December which sold out in hours.

The sports drink which contains coconut water has been made famous by YouTube starts Logan Paul and KSI.

Its release in the UK last year sparked huge excitement and the bottles quickly began exchanging on the internet for much more than their recommended retail price.

While Prime Hydration has been most popular with children and teens - Prime Energy is expected to arrive in the UK this spring and is designed for a more adult audience.

Containing high levels of caffeine the drink is likely to be restricted to customers over 16 in the majority of stores or supermarkets.
