Maidstone v Horsham

Maidstone United have signed former Charlton youngster Taylor Sinfield who should make his debut in the Ryman League Premier Division home game against Horsham at Bourne Park on Saturday.

Defender Sinfield, 18, who hails from Benfleet in Essex, has been released from the Academy at The Valley.

Maidstone joint manager Lloyd Hume said: “Taylor comes highly recommended by my contacts at Charlton, and would have played against Harrow on Wednesday had the game not been postponed. He will play at right back, and offers us the chance of playing 4-4-2.”

Meanwhile on-loan defender Peter Hawkins admits he’s resigned to leaving Ebbsfleet at the end of the season, with boss Liam Daish set not to offer him a new deal at Stonebridge Road.
