Liam Quinnell in court on attempted murder charge after 'hammer attack' on William McMaster

A second man has appeared in court charged with attempted murder after a suspected hammer attack in Maidstone.

Liam Quinnell, 26, of Bicknor Road, Maidstone, was arrested on Monday and has been charged following the incident in Boxley Road, Maidstone, in the early hours of June 15.

Quinnell was remanded in custody by Maidstone magistrates until July 5.

Another man, 29-year-old Trenton Musgrave, was charged on June 17 and was remanded in custody until the same date, when he will appear at Maidstone Crown Court.

William McMaster, 35 and also from the town, was left in a serious but stable condition in hospital with serious head injuries after the attack.
