A family has launched an appeal to find a mystery hero who performed a life-saving procedure on a dad after he collapsed.

Trevor Foster was in a car park near the Lockmeadow complex in Maidstone on Monday, when he suffered a cardiac arrest.

A passer-by rushed to his aid and gave him CPR before emergency services arrived.

Driving instructor, Mr Foster, from Gillingham, is currently in intensive care in hospital.

His daughter Laura, took to Facebook saying: "Some time between 1 and 2pm my poor daddy suffered a cardiac arrest.

"A passer by stopped to help and delivered life=saving CPR to him. He's currently in ICU receiving the best care that he can get and we are all positive that he will keep fighting.

"We are so grateful to the stranger who stopped and helped him and we know that when he is fit and well again he would like to be able to thank them personally.
