A 20-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of drug driving has been bailed.
Officers patrolling Maidstone stopped a car in Holland Road last Wednesday at around 7.30pm after noticing its brake light was out.
After requesting it to pull over the youngster, from Aylesford, was arrested on suspicion of possessing class B or C drugs and driving while unfit through drugs.
A police spokesman added: "He has been released on bail while enquiries continue."
One witness described seeing two police cars along the side of the residential road speaking to the man.
