Gills sign veteran keeper in player-coach role

GOALKEEPER Paul Crichton has joined the Priestfield staff as a player-coach from Accrington Stanley.

The 36-year-old has been brought in by boss Neale Cooper to help with the training of current stoppers Jason Brown, Tony Bullock and Danny Knowles.

Crichton has huge experience in the game and Gillingham becomes his 15th club.

He has signed a two-year deal with the Gills.
