Three plead guilty in connection with boat yard attack

Three men who were involved in an attack which left a 31-year-old man with severe facial and head injuries have all pleaded guilty at Maidstone Crown Court.

The attack at Allington Boat Yard in Allington, Maidstone, in February this year, left the victim with a fractured eye socket.

Jamie Franklin Button, 35, of Old Road, Chatham, pleaded guilty to robbery, actual bodily harm and attempted theft; Bryan Cunningham, 22, of Gravel Walk, Rochester, pleaded guilty to theft and attempted theft; and Keith Wayne Hedley, 34, also of Old Road, Chatham, pleaded guilty to attempted theft.

Both Button and Cunningham remain on remand and Hedley on bail, until they appear for sentencing on July 18 at the same court.
