Tonbridge Angels slipped to a 2-0 defeat at Salisbury City in Blue Square Bet South on Tuesday.

It was a disappointing result for Tommy Warrilow's (pictured) men against a Salisbury side who had lost their previous five league games.

After a quiet opening to the game, Salisbury gradually grew in confidence and they took the lead on the stroke of half-time through a Stuart Anderson penalty.

Anderson scored again on 53 minutes, and at the other end Salisbury keeper Mark Scott was rarely called into action as Angels struggled to create any meaningful chances.

Among the most disappointed Tonbridge players would have been Kayne McLaggon, who was making his first return to the Raymond McEnhill Stadium since leaving Salisbury for Bristol Rovers in the summer.
