POLICE are today hunting a masked gunman who threatened staff and demanded money at a general store in Ramsgate.

The robber, wearing a white ghost mask with a long vertical mouth, escaped from Costcutters in Grange Road last night without any cash but with three bottles of gin worth £33.

Detectives are appealing for information and want to hear from anyone who saw a slim, 6ft tall man in blue jeans, a light coloured long-sleeved tee-shirt, and a body warmer style jacket in the Grange Road area at around 9pm.
