Geese stolen from back garden

FOUR geese have been stolen from a secure pen in a Kent back garden.

The birds - three oriental grey geese and one grey goose with a white patch - were taken overnight between 4.45pm on Friday and 7.30am on Saturday from a house in The Common, Sissinghurst.

Police say the garden could have been accessed via Convalescent Lane, which is adjacent to the property.

Footprints and tyre tracks were found at the back of the house.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 01732 379217 or Kent Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
