County's bowls squad extend perfect start

KENT continued their winning start in the Senior Home Counties League with a win against Berkshire at Three Mile Cross on Saturday.

A 119-97 win earned then 17 points to Berkshire's five.

Kent also had a good win on Sunday in the National County Top Two Fours competition, beating Surrey 45-40 to book a tie with Sussex in the next round.

That is likely to be at Canterbury on Tuesday, June 12.
