Diabetic equipment belonging to a seven-year-old girl is thought to have been stolen from a shopping centre.

Her family have taken to social media to try and trace the bag, last seen at Gravity, in Bluewater yesterday.

Her mum was sat with a bag full of equipment, watching her daughter who has type one diabetes, on the trampolines but when she looked down the bag was gone.

Cousin, Sarah King has taken to social media to do everything she can to help.

She told KentOnline: "We are desperate to get this equipment back, it truly is life saving.

"We don't know who took it, it could have even been another child because the bag is a sparkly unicorn.

"We've asked Gravity for CCTV or if someone has handed it in but no one has got in contact yet.

"It is really urgent, whoever has it, if they could contact me, I will organise a meeting point, no questions asked and just return the kit."

She has since had to go to hospital for emergency treatment and supplies.

The bag contained an i-phone, which is linked to a machine in the little girl's stomach, which monitors her insulin levels.

There is also a pump she uses to inject the hormone.

The bag is described and a pink unicorn make-up/pencil case.

Anyone who has the bag is asked to drop it off at Gravity in Bluewater or contact Sarah on 07840042109.

People with type one diabetes, cannot produce enough of the hormone insulin, and must inject it to ensure their blood sugar levels stay balanced.

It is also vital they check their blood glucose levels regularly.
