Facebook plea from Canterbury mum to track down heroes who saved son from bullies

A mum whose son was pinned to a wall by six bullies hopes the power of social media will track down the “superstars” who came to his aid.

Sally Heath took to Facebook to say how passersby had helped her 12-year-old boy after he was targeted by the older gang in St Peter’s Place, Canterbury.

She told how they grabbed him on his way home from school at 4.30pm and tried to force him to beg to be let go.

But despite being intimidated, the youngster stood firm and refused, with two cars stopping and shouting at the gang.

Mrs Heath says they reassured her son and even offered to give him a lift home.

In a post shared hundreds of times on Facebook, she wrote: “There are more good people in the world than bad and I would love to be able to say thank you.

“So please help me to find them; they are superstars.”
